The aikido club "Kensai" appeared in 2016 on the basis of an initiative group of the Public organization "Kherson city sports club" Titan ". Aikidoki with more than 10 years of experience have teamed up to bring a new approach to the development of aikido in Kherson and Ukraine.
We practice aikido in Kherson in the school of Nobuyoshi Tamura, learning from our knowledge, first of all, from our teacher Stefan Benedetti, 7th Dan Aikido Aikikai, if possible from other Aikido representatives who have achieved some success in this matter.
At the same time, we believe that in spite of the fact that aikido made a huge revolution in the world of martial arts, having modernized their deadly techniques in accordance with the great ideas of O-Sensei, it should not stop there.
What is our understanding of Aikido and what is the path of its development?
Aikido is essentially a martial art whose goal is not to injure and win, but to be able to harmonize the situation with the help of minimal effort.
Aikido is based primarily on fencing, not on hand-to-hand combat, and is not a single combat, because it is considering the possibility of attacking not one, but many partners, both armed and unarmed.
Aikido does not teach a fight, an effective blow against the background of many cameras often in our time does not lead to victory, but to many problems of a judicial nature.
Aikido teaches to neutralize the conflict without injuries for the attacker, and this is the great genius of O-Sensei, whose ideas we do not cease to admire.
There are no competitions in Aikido, but in order for aikido not to turn into pair gymnastics by agreement, in our daily training we try to work not only according to the attestation program, but also apply methods for developing reaction, stability and many other qualities necessary for survival modern world.
