The non-governmental organization Kyokushinkai IFK began its existence in November 1992 in the basement of the Hellas Sports Club and in the Meridian Sports Complex. On February 8, 1993, it was officially registered. Now, 25 years later, there are already 8 sports clubs in different areas of Kyiv and Kyiv region.
Oleg Anatolyevich Sereda, an IFK official in Ukraine since 2000, has been in charge of the Federation. During these years, more than 3000 students of the organization passed the exams for student belts, 25 athletes for black belts, Balenko Victor, Makarenko Roman, Talan Elena, Chertkov Alexander became sensei, and Oleg Sereda received the 5th name and the title of sheehan from hanshi Steve Arneil (10 - the founder of the International Karate Federation).
The athletes and instructors of the federation traveled to the UK, Switzerland, Japan, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Hungary, Estonia, Romania, Bulgaria, Italy, Serbia, Russia, Belarus, Egypt, Sierra Leone, Tunisia and Turkey. And wherever our athletes are, they everywhere with dignity carried the flag of our country.
In order to create a new strong and transparent organization for students and instructors of different levels and to spread the IFK version in Ukraine, the National Kyokushinka Karate Federation of Ukraine was created in 2016.
On January 3, 2016, the 1st Conference of Trainers and Leaders of NGOs, "National Federation of Kyokushinka Karate of Ukraine," was held in Vyshgorod.
Prior to the conference, a traditional training on Kihon and Kata equipment was organized under the guidance of the IFK National Representative in Ukraine and the President of the newly created NGO, NFCCC - Shikhan Sereda Oleg, 5 Dan.
The training was held at the sports club "Comet", which in Vyshgorod is the head coach and the head of which is Chertkov Alexander, 2 Dan. Many instructors have come to Vyshgorod, who recently left the Federation of other Kyokushin Karate versions, with the aim of building a new strong and transparent organization for students and instructors of different levels and the spread of the IFK version in Ukraine. Unfortunately, not all the executives who will now represent IFK in Ukraine came to this event, but all of them were online at the conference and supported all resolved issues. The conference was held in a cozy restaurant in the center of Vyshgorod, where everyone visited after training.
