Creative States, a Ukrainian provider of modern office spaces and services for work and life, together with the "Taras Bulba" marathon club, are announcing the 13th annual "Vyshyvanka Run." The event is traditionally dedicated to Ukraine's Independence Day and will take place on August 23 at the Urban Park, VDNG, Kyiv.
Over the past two years, the event has brought together more than 3,000 participants in Kyiv. This includes professional athletes, amateurs, and children who run distances of 5, 10, and 21.1 km.
A unique feature of the race is the athletic apparel featuring elements of the Ukrainian vyshyvanka (traditional embroidered shirt), which highlights the participants' national identity and fosters the unity of Ukrainians worldwide.
What you should know about the run The "Vyshyvanka Run" is a sports and patriotic initiative that has been uniting people around the world since 2014. Participants wearing Ukrainian vyshyvankas or incorporating its symbols run their chosen distances across Ukraine, Europe, the USA, and other countries.
The founder of the event is Oleksandr Kuzin, a Ukrainian marathon runner and Olympian. Since 2023, the event has been co-organized by Creative States, a company that creates modern coworking spaces with everything necessary for business, inspiration, and comfort.
Charitable goal The event has a charitable focus. A portion of the proceeds from every registration will be donated to charity.
