Child safety is the responsibility of parents. But parents aren't always there. That is why a child must know how to react to danger — even if it comes from an adult.
Aggression, bullying, attempted abductions, or violence against children are, unfortunately, a part of our reality. By acknowledging this, we can counter it effectively. One way is to teach a child to stand up for themselves even in an unequal situation when their life, mental, or physical health is at stake.
About the Seminar: This seminar is dedicated to a child's self-defense against violent actions by older individuals — both peers and adults. It is equally beneficial for children and parents: it helps identify dangerous situations, teaches how to recognize and avoid them, and provides a plan of action if avoidance is impossible.
Seminar Program:
Techniques for avoiding contact with an assailant (physical and psychological methods).
Simple physical impact methods to temporarily stop an adult attacker, allowing the child to escape or call for help.
How to ask for help in an unfamiliar place.
Escape techniques from grabs during attempted restraint or abduction.
Practical recommendations for parents on improving a child's everyday safety.
Terms of Participation: Children aged 7 and older are welcome to participate when accompanied by an adult. The presence of an adult is mandatory, as they act as assistants during the practical sessions. All exercises are safe and conducted in a controlled environment under an instructor's guidance.
