Orion Team Championship 2026

A New Unique Championship with a Prize Pool

This year, we are planning to host a team championship consisting of 5 rounds with a prize pool of 15,000 UAH from sponsors + 15,000 UAH in ORION bonuses for club services.

Format:

• Teams of 3 or more players. Played to 3 team victories.

• Match order: A1-B2, A2-B1, A3-B3, A1-B1, A2-B2 (no doubles).

• 18 teams. 3 leagues with 6 teams each. All 5 team matches are played in a single day.

Tournament System:

• Round 1: Seeding into leagues.

• Rounds 2–5: Round-robin system with promotion and relegation between leagues. The 1st place team moves up a league, while the 6th place team moves down.

• Winners are determined by the total points accumulated from Rounds 2 to 5.

Prizes:

• 1st Place: 10,000 UAH + 5,000 UAH in bonuses

• 2nd Place: 5,000 UAH + 5,000 UAH in bonuses

• 3rd Place: 5,000 UAH in bonuses

Schedule:

• Round 1: February 8

• Round 2: Late February

• Round 3: March

• Round 4: April

• Round 5: May

*** The ORION Championship will take place on Saturdays or Sundays from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, giving all athletes plenty of playing time and the chance to watch top-tier players in action. *** Dates for the ORION Championship will be announced in advance and will not conflict with the Kyiv League or other popular events in the UTTF calendar.
