About the place
Children and youth sports school "Ippon" was founded thanks to the support of the Judo Federation of Ukraine in Kiev and was registered in the Obolonsky district in Kiev city state administration on July 19, 2012. For three years, fruitful work has been carried out to develop the physical and spiritual education of children of all age groups of judo. Since the new 2015 school year, additional WKF sambo and karate branches have been opened. The school has about 500 pupils. For a short period of existence, the school has equipped 9 halls for the educational process on the basis of sports halls of secondary schools of the Obolonsky district. The staff of the school has 19 trainers-teachers, including masters of sports, honored workers of physical education and sports and young promising trainers-teachers, whose pupils show good results. Pupils of the school take an active part in demonstrations in order to popularize and develop judo, social and sports activities of the city of Kiev and Ukraine as a whole.
