The Federation of cycling sports of Ukraine is an all-Ukrainian public organization of sports orientation, which unites sportsmen, trainers, judges, and other specialists to promote the development of cycling in Ukraine and protect the common legal interests of its members. The federation acts on the principles of voluntariness, commonality of interests, equality of its members, self-government, legality and publicity.

Federation among other:

develops and approves the calendar schedule of sports competitions of the Federation
organizes training sessions, competitions and other events in Ukraine and abroad
approves the rules of the competition with the State Committee of Commerce and supervises their observance
provides social protection of members of the Federation, provides assistance to veterans of sports
The basis of the Federation are the cells that are created on a territorial basis.

The highest governing body of the Federation is the Conference of its delegates, which is convened once a year.
