Chess Sport School №3 department has more than 40 years. Our club is a major center for all the championships in Kiev among boys and girls. We also held the finals and semi-finals in Kiev championship among men and women. In our cozy club three times (1994, 2006 and 2010.) Were the Ukrainian championship among boys and girls. We are especially proud that in 1994 the champion of Ukraine at the age of 12 years became Ruslan Ponomariov. It was after this tournament began his triumphant ascent to the rank of the world champion among men.
