Gospel Christian Floral Club
soccer is a team sport. It is registered under No. 100 in the Register of Recognized Sports in Ukraine (Section II “Non-Olympic Sports”). This is one of a kind of hockey game played by a plastic ball that is hit with a stick.
The goal of the game is to score the ball at the opponent's goal. Each team has 5 field players and one goalkeeper on the field. The ball is only allowed to control the ball, which is available to all field players. The foot is allowed to stop the ball, but it is impossible to strike at the goal. This game is similar to ball hockey and ice hockey, but there are significant differences in the rules.
Florball - a non-traumatic, contactless game. The only power-play allowed is shoulder-to-shoulder play when fighting for the ball. If a player breaks the rules, the opposing team is entitled to a free kick.
In the course of training and competitions in those who are engaged in florball, the functional activity of the organism is improved, optimum physical development is ensured, such positive traits of character as cooperation, mutual assistance and responsibility, stability, willpower, agility, attentiveness, coordination are developed. Each child receives technical training and learns to interact in a team.
In 2005, soccer came to Ukraine. At the same time, a national association of florball was created. Now the sport is developing rapidly, the number of fans, professionals and teams is growing. Currently, a large number of teams compete in the Ukrainian Premier League and abroad. The most active in this process are students, they perform in the school league in two age categories: 1) under 13; 2) 14-16 years. Many tournaments and competitions are held annually in Ukraine.
