MMA club "Patriot" was created in April 2003. Pupils take part in club competitions in various types of martial arts, boxing, kickboxing, military pentathlon, martial arts, jujitsu, sambo. The club train candidates for master of sports, master of sports of various kinds of martial arts. Recently, one of the tasks of the club is to find and train young talented sportsmen - martial artists and help them in the organization of amateur and professional fighter career. In February 2010 the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Combat Sambo Federation was established on the basis of the club. Club president and head coach - Kucheruk Sergei Stepanovich.
