Poltava Regional Organization of Sport and Sport Society "Dynamo" of Ukraine, as a legal entity founded in 1936, unites 37 physical education collectives of the law enforcement bodies of the region and is the regional branch of the All-Ukrainian Society "Dynamo". In the center of Poltava there is the "Dynamo" stadium, in the organizations of physical education of the organization there are 36 sports halls, 32 shooting ranges, 60 sports grounds, two sports bases for classes and competitions in fire and applied sports.
In 2008, a sports complex at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Poltava region with a sports hall was built, which meets the requirements for holding European level competitions.
The organization cultivates about 15 kinds of sports, the priority of which is: judo, boxing, shooting, swimming, triathlon handball, football, hockey on the grass, pankration, weight sport.
