Mixed martial arts club "Nikolaev» (MMA CLUB NIKOLAEV) was created in 2010 for the development and popularization of mixed martial arts MMA in Mykolayiv and Mykolayiv region. MMA (mixed martial arts) - type of martial arts, which combines different techniques of percussion disciplines (boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai, karate, wushu sanshou, etc.). And wrestling directions (judo, sambo, jiu-jitsu, hrepplinhu, free and Greco-Roman wrestling and so on.). Mixed martial arts MMA in April 2013 recognized Ukraine as an official sport. Areas of developing a club - MMA hrepplinhu, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, kickboxing and Muay Thai. MMA CLUB NIKOLAEV develops and promotes MMA in the Mykolaiv region and is the regional representative of the Federation of mixed martial arts MMA Ukraine. For a couple of years of its history the club fighters have gained several victories at major national tournaments MMA hrepplinhu and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. In March, Ukraine championship was held in 2013 with the MMA, which also joined the team Mykolaiv region, successfully zavovoevav three medals (gold, silver, bronze). At the European Championships in 2013 with MMA mixed martial arts (June 2013, Kyiv) mykolayivets Stanislav Kutin won a bronze medal. In October 2013 in St. Petersburg in the first ever official world championship MMA in the national team of Ukraine acted Nicholas fighter Stanislav Kutin.
