Kharkiv sports club karate "Taikang" is one of the leading clubs of Kharkiv and Ukraine. The club presents the style of Shotokan, one of the most popular styles of karate in the world. Among the coaches of the club there are also experts in other areas of karate. Sports club "Taikang" is a division of the Kharkov regional public organization "Association of Kharkiv Karate", registration as a legal entity with rights and powers to popularize karate and preparing athletes for competition. President of Kharkiv Association of Karate and the head coach of the club "Taikang" - Hawks Oleg. Sports club "Taikang", as well as its athletes and coaches are members of the National Ukrainian Federation of Karate - representative of the world famous version of karate WKF - Paralympic and Deaflympic sport included in the program of the continental Olympic Games and the main candidate for inclusion in the Olympic Games in Tokyo - 2020 .
